The Koi Fish was meticulously bead-woven by hand, using wee little glass seed beads in a beautiful palette of charcoal, graphite, silvery moonlight, coral, sun-kissed sand and wave-cap white .
The varied lusters (aurora borealis, satin, pearl..) play with the light as he swims.
His body is stuffed with Freshwater Pearls that bubble up in a lovely twist from his fishy lips.
His tail fin leaves a wake of luminous, shimmering gems - tassels of wee freshwater seed pearls, freshwater coin pearls, faceted Aquamarine rondells & faceted Labradorite drops.

For the necklace: one side is a bead-woven rope, a dark as midnight ocean of seed beads which ebbs & flows in lovely waves, capped with dreamy Freshwater Pearls from storm cloud grey to silvery moonbeam to full moon white.

The other side, a dramatically stormy sea of Freshwater Stick Pearls - black pearls, each sporting incredible luminous nacre of peacock overtones (a mixture of green, blue-green, rose, silver, copper and aquamarine). Full moon white Freshwater Coin Pearls & faceted Aquamarine gems sparkle amidst the undulating waves.
This whimsical beauty fastens with a glorious beaded clasp of black & white freshwater pearls with glass seed bead accents.
All elements have been lovingly hand beaded, woven & stitched for ultimate beauty, strength and longevity!
